I’ve created Menu Items with main categories and then categories beneath those.
Ex)
Main category: Apparel
Drop down from Apparel: Tops, Hats, Shoes, etc
I can click on the drop-down menu, but I can’t click the first main category (from example, Apparel) to show all the products from the drop-down options.
Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!
Hi,
Actually it will cause issue to user, if click on main menu will redirect to all items then visitor will not able to choose options from dropdown.
Instead add “All” menu like this
Thanks. Is this for all Shopify themes or just for Debut? Is there no way to bypass this in the HTML?
No, its theme dependent. Even you can customize code as per your requirement by going to snippets → site-nav.liquid file
Would you happen to know how?
I tried on my mobile and I’m able to click on my main categories, even when there’s a drop-down option, just not on desktop for some reason.
yes, it will require to change code in site-nav.liquid
it will take bit of time to code
What’s the code I need to change and change to?
I found out here in case anyone needs it:
