Impulse theme building a new store. My default product template is missing which is absurd?!!

It is actually very similar to this problem. The files are there:

it’s either:
- restore a backup theme if you ever made one, https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/themes/managing-themes/duplicating-themes
- copy the template from a duplicate or backup of the current theme
- or just copy one the other templates into a file for the default template , similar to a post in discussion you linked
- or install a new copy of the theme itself and copy the template from that.
