"Delete" a Location - without inventory transfer

I saw some posts re deleting a physical location or a POS location.

A company previously syncing data from Square created a “location” - it is not an actual physical location. We have since brought everything over into 2 actual physical locations with the correct inventory for both locations.

I just need to delete the 3rd location and need the “inventory” in that location ignored or forgotten or deleted. Currently I do not see an option to “delete” the location - only “deactivate”. And it asks where I want the inventory to be place (ie , in which of my other locations) - it doesn’t seem to give the option to choose not to put theinventory anywhere.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Wow I appreciate your response BUT with over 20,000 items temporarily transferring or altering correct existing inventory and then “manually adjusting” would take days , maybe even weeks or months!! This would NOT be a solution.

There are no items that would need to be deleted from the sspecific location – just the. location AND it’s inventory counts. – thus my need is simple just like the title of my post - delete a location without inventory transfer.

I need an option (and ther should be an option) to just DELETE a location without affect on the oterh locations inventory.

I’m running into the same issue. It looks like it still wouldn’t allow me to delete a store without transferring. What did you end up doing?
