Delivery Instuctions access in Orders API

I read from @_JB recently that the “Delivery Instructions” that a customer enters for an order are NOT available to be retrieved using the Orders APIs. https://community.shopify.com/post/761816

Is this feature likely to be implemented, or is it even on the cards?

For mine, it seems pointless allowing a customer to enter delivery instructions, if it can’t be retrieved without management looking at every single individual order in shopify.

Is there a way to remove the option to allow a customer to enter delivery instructions and have them enter a “Note” or field that is accessible via the orders API?
