Delivery options no longer fully visible nor defaulting to the best customer outcome

The old Shopify checkout used to display all applicable delivery options and default to the one that represented the best option for each customer. For exisiting customers Checkout Extensibility no longer displays all delivery options (instead collapsing them which some customers aren’t understanding) and appears to default to the last used option which can sometimes be a worse outcome for customers. For example, if a customer qualifies for free express shipping but used standard in their last order, it defaults to standard and you need to realise that you have to click the dropdown to see all options.

Has anyone found a way around this? Shopify Support have so far said thats just the way it works now and that there’s nothing that we can do about it.

Hi @USER489650

Can you share your store URL? then I can have a check on this issue

https://www.stfrock.com.au Note its only an issue for existing customers. New customers are presented all delivery options.

Hi Badlands.

OK. I try it on my develop store. Like you said. But do not find this issue. My shipping options do not collapse and expanded like this.

Its not an issue for new customers. Its existing customers where the problem lies.

Yes. I do exactly what you said. And place order using existing customers. And do not find the same issues.

But I also find some one have same issue like yours. seems it happens using shop pay.
