Delivery options that update based on order time

Hi Shopify Community,

Looking for a shipping app that dynamically shows delivery options based on when the customer places their order - both time of day and day of week. We ship only within Ontario, Canada through a local courier company, so don’t need integrations with major carriers.

Currently using Postcode Shipping which only handles day-based options. Need something smarter that automatically adjusts available shipping choices based on:

  • Time of day the order is placed (e.g., show different options if someone orders at 9am vs 8pm)
  • Day of the week (options change for weekday vs weekend orders)
  • Local pickup scheduling

Right now we show all options and rely on customers to pick (and it might be 3-4 options), which is confusing. Any recommendations for an app that can handle this type of dynamic, time-based logic?

We can help you implement this with our app, JsRates (https://apps.shopify.com/jsrates-shipping-rates ). Please note that your store needs to have third-party carrier calculated shipping (CSS) activated in order to display the rates at checkout. CSS is available on higher Shopify plans (Shopify, Advanced and Plus).
