I want to sell Excursions for other people. I’d ideally like to take payment of a deposit and then the clients could pay the excursion company thr remaining fees when they arrive on the day.

1. Products: Create excursion listings with clear “deposit” labels and pricing.
2. Payment Processing: Choose a suitable payment gateway for deposits.
3. Booking App (Optional): Consider using a booking app to manage bookings and client information.
4. Remaining Balance:
- Offline Payment: Client pays remaining balance directly to excursion company upon arrival (clearly communicate this).
- Partial Payment on Shopify (More Setup):
- Create a hidden product for the remaining balance.
- After deposit, add this product to client’s cart and send a payment link.

Is their a way to display the price and sale price plus deposit cost.
Or are you suggesting to mention in the description, or on the images the price is only the deposit price. Not the whole price?

- You can create the service, have customers book with you, and pay a deposit. Set the price of the event as the deposit price and collect the remainder in person as a separate transaction. You can set it up so that there’s only a deposit amount, and the customer pays the remainder in person. Downpay helps with the pricing display and partial payment collection, while the Add to Cart converting into Select a Time is from our booking app. See attached screenshot for an idea!
