Deposit on Custom Orders

I run a small woodworking business and use Shopify for my Website and use Drafts under the order section for custom invoices. I am getting to the point of wanting to charge a 50% deposit on all custom orders before to start the project, and charge the rest upon completion and delivery. I know there are a few apps out there that can do this, but I am not sure which one will suit my needs better. I have no desire to offer this on products on my website. Just custom orders.

Doing great, I hope,
For draft orders, deposits specifically.

Deposit and Split Payment by Karmoon or Partial.ly are both solid options.
They let you collect 50% upfront and charge the rest later.
Karmoon is easier and cleaner to set up.

I do not have the Shopify Plus plan or Shopify POS if that is what you’re referring to. I typically just send an invoice for custom orders and the customer pays through the invoice.
