Design product page ( easy )

Topic summary

A user seeks help customizing their product page on the Refresh theme, specifically wanting to:

Two main requests:

  • Move a FAQ section higher on the page
  • Remove rounded corners from rectangular elements

Proposed solution:
A community member provides CSS code to:

  • Set border-radius to 0px (removes rounded corners)
  • Hide the FAQ section heading
  • Apply changes only to mobile screens (max-width: 749px)

Implementation attempts:
The helper initially suggests adding code to the theme’s CSS file (base.css, style.css, or theme.css) via the code editor. When this doesn’t work, they recommend using the custom CSS section in the theme customizer (Product pages > Product information).

Current status:
The issue remains unresolved—the user reports the CSS solution isn’t working even after trying both implementation methods. Screenshots show the current page layout and attempted customization locations.

Hi @Suco

Do you mean you like make the edges not rounded?

Like this?

Moving the space on the top is only in the mobile screen?

Check this one.

From your Shopify admin dashboard, click on “Online Store” and then “Themes”.

Find the theme that you want to edit and click on “Actions” and then “Edit code”.

In the “Assets” folder, click on “base.css, style.css or theme.css” file, depending on which file your theme uses to store its CSS styles. At the bottom of the file, add the following CSS code:

@media only screen and (max-width: 749px){
.rb-faq-shopify-section h1 {
    display: none;
}
}
.rb-faq-question {
    border-radius: 0px !important;
}

And Save.
