Different offset from page borders

Topic summary

A user is building a coffee website and encountering inconsistent spacing issues. Newly added sections have different offsets from page borders compared to the original sections that came with the template. The goal is to align all sections uniformly with the header, matching the layout of a demo store (Taste theme).

Current situation:

  • Most sections appear relatively aligned
  • The “get based” section is noticeably narrower than others
  • Product images sit on colored backgrounds in the demo but on white backgrounds in the user’s version

Response received:
One commenter suggests the alignment is mostly correct, noting that the narrower text section may be intentional for readability (avoiding excessively wide text lines). The visual difference also stems from background color choices rather than purely offset/spacing issues.

The discussion remains open with no definitive solution provided for achieving perfect alignment across all sections.

hi all! thanks in advance for the help. im building this coffee website for a projet but all sections that i add seem to have different offset from the page borders except for the first two which were already there when i started building. how to make sure all sections have same offset from page border like in this demo store. i want all sections to align with the header as in the demo store

hmm. they are kinda aligned? Except for the “get based” section which is narrower – you would not want your text in one wide line, wouldn’t you?

The difference is that demo shop has product images on a coloured background while yours are on the white one.
