Different product image for different markets

Topic summary

Multi-language Shopify store seeks to show a different featured (first) product image per market/domain (.nl, .com, .fr, .-es.com). The current images include Dutch text/flags, so visitors on other locales (e.g., Spain) see non-localized visuals on first load. The request is for a way to manage the first product image by URL/market.

Latest update: A participant notes the site appears to already display localized images and asks how this was achieved. No implementation details or steps are shared.

Key points:

  • Goal: per-market/URL control of the featured product image for localization.
  • Evidence: product link provided; images are central to understanding.
  • Outcome: no solution documented in the thread.
  • Status: open/awaiting the method used; key question remains how to implement per-market featured images in Shopify.

Hi all,

I have a multi language store —> socialsticker.nl, socialsticker.com, socialsticker.fr, socialsticker-es.com. Each language has its own URL.

Our product image contains Dutch language or sometimes a Dutch flag (https://socialsticker.nl/products/rally-sticker), so customers from Spain by example don’t see their own language or flag on first the product image.

We are looking for a way to manage the first product image for each market, so we want to change the first product image per url.

is their any possibility to fix this?

Looking forward to your ideas.

Thanks a lot.
