Different sections for different collection

Hello

I have a website (mansasfc.com) on which i plan selling hair products alongside hair accessories and hair styling tools. For this reason i would the products such as the shampoos to have a collapsible row named “ingredients” on their product’s page but i would either not want that row to appear on other product’s pages or would want that row to be different on their pages. To help you understand : there is no ingredients for a brush or a bonnet but there are for a shampoo or a conditionner. Is it possible and if yes, can anyone please help ?

Hi there,

You can do that by creating separate product templates for each collections and then assign products to correct template.

You can create a new template for your product from Sale channels > Online store > Themes > Customize > click dropdown menu at the top > Products > Create template.

After that, you can assign product to correct template in store admin > Products > edit product > assign to template that you want in Theme template

It would be an advanced coding customization to have a single template that does every special section for every product based on special conditions.

While it could also be done with CSS that is highly not-recommended as it will just lead to bad page performance for customers.
