Different Set of Product Description Photos for Mobile

Hi,

I am mostly using graphic for my product descriptions. Most of my customer go to our site on the computer (web), so the graphic design (Aspect ratio, front size, etc) is optimised for computer user and not mobile user.

Is there a way I can have different set of product description graphics for mobile user?

Hi @VTP yes this can be possible, but you need to do a workaround to accomplish the same, there are 2 work arounds for the same:

  1. You can use metafield for the same so in this case you will upload the mobile images in here and then add custom code through which you can show hide these images based on screen aspect ratio.
  2. You need to upload both the images in the product description then add the alt text in each image but remember to add alt text different for desktop images and for mobile images then add the css and java script code to show and hide the images based on the aspect ratio of the screen.
