Different stock levels & GMC

Topic summary

A merchant is struggling to sync two different stock levels (UK and US warehouses) from Shopify to Google Merchant Centre. They currently use Inventory Horse to manage separate inventory in Shopify and Simprosys to connect to GMC, but cannot configure it to distinguish between the different stock levels by market.

Current workaround:

  • Manually creating a US feed with availability data (UK is the primary market)
  • This manual process is not sustainable long-term and prevents real-time stock updates

Proposed solutions:

  • One user recommends the Multipfeed app, which supports mapping different stock levels to separate feeds for each market
  • Another suggests selecting the “do not track quantity” option in Shopify, though this advice appears incomplete

Status: The issue remains unresolved, with the merchant seeking automated solutions for better customer experience and accurate inventory management across markets.

I am looking for a solution to pull two different stock levels into Google Merchant Centre from Shopify. Currently we have one product which serves UK and US with two separate warehouses and stock levels (this is managed in Shopify by Inventory Horse). Simprosys connects to GMC but I can not see an option to get it distinguish the different stock levels (UK is the primary market so it pulls this through) - I am having to create a manual feed with US availability which can not be my long term solution and needs to be automated for a better customer experience and real-time stock.

Any advice welcome as Shopify and Google support have not been able to offer advice.

The multipfeed app supports different stock levels, you just need to map the right one to the right feed.

Hi! To solve your problem, I will suggest you select the “do not track quantity” option on Shopify. That will help you.
