Different themes for different template pages (Enable Color Swatches). Empire 9.0

I am trying to enable color swatches on one of my collection pages by variation picture, and I want a different collection page to sort them by their color swatch. Is there a way that I can have these different theme settings on each collection page? They are each under their own template but every time I try to change one of them it changes the other. Is there a way that I can fix this?

Hi @PCIFandD ,

You need to create another template if you want the design different from your default. Please see more information here

I thought that too and I created two separate templates, but each time I change the theme settings on one it still affects the other.

Hi @PCIFandD ,

It should not affect the other template. You must assign the product to the said template

I have two separate product lines of fabric and hardware. The black from the hardware does not match the black from the fabric products so I want different images for the color swatches. I have set my fabric collections and products under different templates than the hardware. If I attempt to edit the Hardware collection’s theme settings for showing a color swatch, it will make the fabric collection’s template also change to a color swatch. I understand that changing one of these should not affect the other so I have no idea why it keeps doing it.

Can anyone help me with this or have they had this problem?

Hi @PCIFandD

Please follow the tutorial video below on how to create a template and assign a product to that template.
