Help !!!.. i have downloaded the digital downloads app (but instead of the customer receiving a download link in their email … i’d like them to receive a external website link - away from shopify)…is this possible???
I’d rather they received a link instead of being able to download the file.
I am afraid that is not possible with the digital downloads app. It is very basic.

You might want to consider using a more comprehensive app like Fileflare. It offers the feature to provide a URL as a digital product, which can be quite handy.
