Hi, I’m selling a short, children’s audiobook (that’s a digital download).
What I would like to have happen is once the customer makes their purchase and hits the download button is to have them access the file with ease with the name of the file I gave it, in this case “The Pea Is As Big As He Is!” Unfortunately, the following has happend:
If I uploaded the mp3 audiobook, the front cover, and the back cover, with the app I was using, the files were downloaded into a Zip file. Not my favorite thing, but I can live with it. HOWEVER, once the zip file is clicked it opened the files and named them “Order Files," which then have to be clicked to see the actual name of the files. This is too confusing customers complained.
What I then did was create an mp4 file of the audiobook displaying the book covers while it plays. HOWEVER, after the customer downloads the mp4, it begins playing immediately, and doesn’t go to the download folder. Instead, it creates a url and just starts playing on its own. Unless the customer bookmarks the URL created for the mp4, they won’t be able to find it to play again.
Another app developer said they could help me with the downloaded mp4 going to the download folder, but if the customer wants to play the file again, they have to enter an assigned code each time they want to play it. Too much trouble - plus, the customer needs to control when they listen to the audiobook.
Can someone recommend an app that either doesn’t create “order files” from an mp3 and two book cover graphics or if I use an mp4 go to the download folder (or wherever the customer designates the downloads to go), enter an assigned code once to play the file, then when they desire to access the mp4 again, play it whenever they want without entering a code again?
Look forward to your solution. Thank you!
