Disable Auto Select Variant in Maranello Theme

Hello,

I would like to disable the auto select for the Maranello theme which is on the 2.0 version of the theme, it also uses

.

Is there a way to do this?

Yes, it is possible to disable the auto selection if variants but it needs a lot of code tweaks in theme. Please check below example:

Yes this is exactly what I need, I do not mind doing the code setup either, what do I have to do?

I don’t think, there will be direct setting to diasble default variant selection, it will be possible through custom JS and liquid coding.
You can also consult with theme support as it is a paid theme and they may suggest some solution or workaround to tackle the issue

There are lot of tweaks to be done including JS and liquid. So if you are not good with coding and can tackle the errors I would suggest to consult a developer.
