Disable shipping notifications

Hi,

I would like to disable the shipping notifications to customers.
I have seen some older posts on this topic, but the advised checkboxes no longer exists as explained.
Who can help me out here?

In Shopify, you do have the option to deactivate SMS notifications for shipping updates, but unfortunately, there is no direct option to disable email notifications for shipping.

However, here’s what you can do:
Deactivate SMS Notifications:

  1. Go to your Shopify Admin.
  2. Click on Settings > Notifications.
  3. Scroll down to the Shipping section.
  4. You will see the option for SMS shipping confirmation. You can uncheck this option to stop SMS notifications from being sent.
    Email Notification Workaround:
    While you can’t turn off the shipping email notifications directly, you can customize the email templates under Settings > Notifications. For example, you could remove the content in the shipping notification emails, or modify the message to suit your needs.
    If you’re using a Shopify app for shipping, it might be sending notifications separately, so make sure to check its settings to prevent those notifications as well.
