I’m posting my message here to maybe get some help from you .
(I use the Gecko 5.8 theme)
I’m looking for a way to disable the cart display after I’ve added an item to my cart.
There is already an option in the theme settings to do just that, but it doesn’t apply to the whole shop.
In fact, this option allows the shopping cart not to be displayed after an item has been added. The screenshots below show what I’m trying to do across the whole site.
However, when I go to my catalogue and not the home page and add an item to my cart, the cart summary is still displayed, which I don’t want.
I guess I need to change the theme code, so I’m looking for the code responsible for this.
I’ve looked in the template files, various cart.liquid files and so on, but haven’t found anything convincing yet.
I hope I’ve been as clear as possible, but if not, I’m of course happy to provide you with more information if you need it.
