Disapproved products in google because of missing GTIN - Unable to get them

Hi. I advertise my products on google. 1429 are approved, but 199 are disapproved due to missing GTIN, MPN numbers. The message says: Incorrect value (identifier exists). When I click through to the product, it says I need to supply the GTIN. I am unable to get the GTIN or MPN etc. I have set up a Feed Rule and set the identifier exists to NO. This has helped me get 1429 of my products approved, but 199 are not. And most of them are the same products, for example I sell an item that is available in white and black, the white version is approved and the black one is disapproved, even though they have the same information. This has happened on a lot of products. Does anyone know a way of fixing this issue, if I cannot get hold of GTIN, etc. Thanks

Hello @MSFT ,

If your products require a GTIN, MPN, or other unique identifier to be listed on Google, you may need to obtain these identifiers to ensure your products are approved. These unique identifiers help Google identify your products and ensure that they are accurately displayed in search results.

Here are some steps you can take to address this issue:

  1. Check with your supplier or manufacturer
The GTIN or MPN may be available from your supplier or manufacturer. Check with them to see if they can provide you with the required identifiers.

  2. Purchase GTINs or MPNs
You can purchase GTINs or MPNs from GS1, which is the organization that issues these identifiers. This can be a costly option, so you may want to consider if it is worth the investment for your business.

  3. Use a different identifier
If you are unable to obtain a GTIN or MPN, you may be able to use a different identifier, such as a brand name or manufacturer part number. However, keep in mind that this may not be as effective as using a GTIN or MPN.

  4. Consider removing the products
If obtaining the required identifiers is not feasible for your business, you may want to consider removing the products from your feed. This will prevent them from being disapproved and save you the time and effort of trying to address the issue.

Additionally, it’s worth checking if there are any other issues with the products that are disapproved. Google may provide additional information on why a product was disapproved, so reviewing that information could help you identify other issues that need to be addressed.
