Discount Code with 2 Requirements

I would like customers to receive 20% off when they purchase a minimum of $100 (any item from my store), but 1 of the items have to be from a specific collection. Is this possible?

Hi, You can do this:

  1. Campaign 1 - Buy 100$, get 10% off

  2. Campaign 2 - Buy 1 item from a specific collection and get 10% off

So user can get additional discount when they hit both tiers.

Our app also allows setting up above structure if that interests you.

Shopify’s default discount does not have a feature, so the item must be from a specific collection. It could be set when they purchase a minimum is $100 only

hi thanks for the reply! but am i able to add on a 2nd requirement, which is one of the items have to be from a specific collection?

for more context, i would like customers to enjoy 20% off my usual menu the moment they hit $100. however, one of the items in their cart has to also be from a special menu.

Here’s a screenshot of how you could set your discount up:

  • Use a “Check if specific products are in the cart” condition to ensure at least 1 item from your desired collection is in the cart
  • Use a “Minimum purchase requirements” condition to ensure the order subtotal is at least $100

Hi @TBD ,

An order discount with those conditions is not possible with Shopify’s native capabilities.

However, this can be configured easily using our app - Dollarlabs : Ultimate Discounts by following the below configuration. This is possible because we’re built using Shopify’s discount functions that allow you to easily setup conditional discounts on your store.

  1. Check if subtotal is greater than 100$
  2. Check if any product in the cart is from the collection specified

When both these conditions are met - the discount is applied to the user’s cart. Here’s a quick loom that I recorded for you that walks through the setup on the app as well as testing on the storefront.
