Discount Codes not completing in basket

Hi, we have an ongoing issue where customers place a valid discount code in the basket and when they click on apply the ‘the waiting wheel’ spins continuously without any indication that the discount code has been applied. When checkout is clicked the order goes to the checkout page and the discount code has been applied. The problem is that, if you are not aware of this, it looks as so is not being applied and consequently the customer will not complete the order.

We have tried this ourselves, include deleting history, trying different devices and different browsers. We can confirm that it is still an issue.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

We got the same issue.

It seems that when the promo code is inside the url like “?discount=XXX”

This things that many app uses doesn’t work anymore, i mean for us.

Please test if it works on your Shopify

The only reason why you’re having issue on your store discount is that, you don’t set the up every in your shopify store… Go and fix it there

We always set the discount up in Shopify discount area, I can’t really see another way to set a discount up.
