Hey all,

Currently have an issue where discount code we create in Shopify are not being automatically synced to Google Merchant Center even though we have the share to google field enabled. The only way I have been able to get a discount code to appear on the Google side is by manually recreating the code within Merchant center. I have a case open with support currently. Was wondering if anyone has experienced this? This has actually been going on for a while now but I always just chalked it up as a probable known issue or something being depreciated especially since the Google integration has changed.

I believe there are two things.

  1. Only new promotions you create are submitted.

  2. You need to enable it for Google Shopping when creating the promotion

Yeah we definitely do both of these things. The option to promote on meta seems to work just fine. Never the google option.

Then I am guessing it’s a bug with the app with Google. Then I recommend waiting for support to reply back.
