Discount for only one specific item/collection

I’ve created a 100% discount code for 3x Trail packs that needs to be used only once and by new customers only, so far so good.

My question is how can I limit the code usage to just one trail pack? So I don’t want someone to be able to add all three trial packs or add 50 and get them free. Does Shopify limit the discount by product and not cart?

When we create new DISCOUNT CODE there is a option available to LIMIT 1 USE PER CUSTOMER.
Did you checked that option or not?

Greeting while applying the discount code on the last section there is the column named after minimum requirement where you can add minimum quantity..

That is checked/on but is that 1 cart or 1 item per customer?

Wouldn’t that need to be ‘maximum’ so I could enter a maximum quantity of 1?
