Discount limit failed

I just had a customer reuse a discount code that is set to “one use per customer”. Shopify clearly says that this was their 3rd order. This is somewhat confusing, as I usually interpret an enabled checkbox next to this sort of term to mean that the customer will NOT be able to keep using the generous and expensive coupon over and over.

Does anyone have thoughts on how to prevent this kind of thing? On a related note, is there a way to set an upper limit to the discount?

Hi 11x, you mentioned that this is the customer’s 3rd order, but has the customer already used that exact discount code on any of those orders?

Also, can you please share screenshots of the discount settings? This could help shine some light on what the cause could be.

Thanks,
Tobe

Ah, you nailed it, Tobe! Sorry for overlooking the obvious! They hadn’t used this exact discount previously, but I thought they had.

Do you (or does anyone else) know about setting an upper limit to discounts? It’s common practice to say “up to $x00 off”.

Hi 11x, glad to hear you were able to find the answer! As for an upper limit, that’s a feature we’re planning to add to Regios Discounts soon. If you’re interested, please let me know, and I’ll reply to this thread with a demonstration once the feature is available. :slightly_smiling_face:

Please do! Thanks for the help!
