I’d like to start selling online, but I’d like to know if it’s possible to create a price list (% discount) based on a specific group of customers.

Yes, you can definitely do that on Shopify! You can create a price list with a percentage discount for specific customer groups by using Shopify’s customer tags or apps designed for customer segmentation and pricing rules. Once set up, the discount will apply automatically to those customers at checkout.

If you’re looking for a way to create a discount that only applies to a specific group of customers, you have 2 options:
- Without an app, if you create a discount code, you can select a specific customer segment it applies to. However, you cannot do this with Shopify’s built-in automatic discounts.
- With an app - You can try our app, Regios Automatic Discounts (4.9 stars, Built for Shopify), to create an automatic discount that only applies to customers with a specific tag. For example, you could use it to give specific B2B pricing to customers with the tag
b2b. You can also display the discount on product pages, so your designated customers will see the B2B pricing.
