Hi, I am presently engaged in the development of a custom Shopify application that affords customized product discounts before the final checkout stage. Regrettably, while finalizing some aspects of the application, I encountered an error during checkout that appeared to be directly related to the application. However, upon scrutinizing multiple other stores, I ascertained that this same issue was also present on other stores as well. This leads me to suspect that the error may be originating from Shopify’s platform itself.
The error message in question reads as follows: “Your payment couldn’t be processed because your order total has changed. Check your order total and try again.” Additionally, in some cases, the discount offered by the application also disappears during the checkout process, which is a source of concern.
I humbly request guidance or assistance in resolving this issue. If others have encountered similar difficulties, please kindly apprise me of such. Moreover, if any representative from Shopify could provide clarification regarding whether this issue originates from their platform, it would be immensely helpful. I totally understand where you are coming from as I have faced the same problem myself!
