I’m trying to set up a specific type of discount and can’t seem to get it working properly. Essentially, I want to release a new product and any time someone has that new product in their cart, they get 15% off everything in their cart from a specific collection. This is the same collection the new product is in. I’ve verified that the products I’m hoping to discount are in the correct collection.
It will discount one item, not the entire cart. Looks like this:
Under the quantity for ‘Customer Gets’, if I change it to the exact number of things in the cart it sort of works. It will arbitrarily pick that number of items to discount (1 here). But obviously I want to encourage customers to buy more things.
Website is www.pueomaui.com. I have collections set up for each artist, and the specific collection here in question is my work, Lyle Krannichfeld. The specific piece I’m trying it with is ‘Queens Gambit’. It’s currently live as an automatic discount.
I use an app called Custom Product Options, but I don’t think that is causing the conflict. Seems to be a limitation of Shopify.
I’m open to any apps that will do this specific thing. I tried half a dozen with no luck.
