Hi everyone, I have a phone case store and I would like some help.

Many times when we are going to sell to customers we give discounts on one product or another, not on the entire sale.

Can you give me a discount app that allows me to choose which product to give a discount on and not on the entire sale?

Hello @Igold ,

You can apply product specific discounts using the native POS, by selecting the product in the cart, and then tap “Apply discount”

  1. In Shopify POS, tap the product’s name in the cart.
  2. Tap Apply discount.
  3. Tap Amount or Percentage (%).
  4. Fill in the fields and tap Save.
  5. Tap Save.

@Igold - If you need to set limits on staff discounts, consider this approach:

  1. Use Permission Management to prevent staff from applying custom discounts directly to the cart.
  2. Allow staff to apply pre-defined discount codes via Permission Management.
  3. Create discount codes with parameters that match your required limits. These codes can be configured for specific products.

I created the discount using a code, but it applies to all products in the cart.

I added all the products in my collection for discounts of 10%, 25%.
I would like some sales to not be discounted for the entire cart, but only for one product.
Because through this we can negotiate with the customer.

@Igold - When creating a new discount, select Product discount. You’ll then have the option to specify which product(s) the discount is applicable to.
