I want the first option ‘Colour’ to just display some colours swatches from a png. So for example it looks at the value, finds the asset in the folder and displays that as the swatch.

I have seen lots of tutorials in the past on how to do this but I cannot find them or they are outdated. I have no interest in using an app to do this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @romanandisaac

This can be done using custom code.

First add images in asset and then in the swatches files add code to show images according to the colors.

If not familiar with code then please contact with shopify developer.

I know this, I was looking for the code to have to add into the variation option to show the image from the asset folder for the color option

have to create the code according to theme, it will took 5-6 Hours for this functionality
