Display widget on product page stopped functioning

Hi, I’m building an apparel store.

On my product page, the widget normally lets us select the color of the shirt we want. And only that specific shirt color we chose will be displayed.

But now when I upload a new product, all the different shirt colors are displayed full-sized on the page. This happened suddenly without me doing anything differently. All my previous product pages are all still displaying properly.

Problem is when the customer after selecting the size and color and adds to cart. On the cart page, only the first shirt color image (eg. Black) will be displayed regardless what color the customer selected. In other words, if the customer chose pink, he will see the black shirt image although the text showed he had indeed selected pink. So there is confusion.

Please help me resolve this issue. Thanks.

Thanks for reaching out to me.

Actually all the image variants are synced from the pod provider company. I just publish the product in my store. Everything was ok until now. I did not mess with the code or anything like that. Thanks again.

If it was fine before and you haven’t made any changes, I’d reach out to the theme or app developer and see if they made a change recently that would have caused a compatibility issue. See what they say and go from there.

I’m using the Dawn theme and I haven’t even updated it. I tested out with another theme and still got the same result.
