Distributing unique codes for another site after purchase

Hi all! I’ve been trying to find a solution for what I’m trying to do and was hoping you could all help.

I’m selling a bundle of products which includes the redemption for another product from our sister site (on Magento) at a later date. We figured the best way to do this was to give the buyer a unique coupon code that could be used to redeem on the sister site. I found 2 great plugins that can generate codes: couponcarrier.io and personaldiscount.io. However, our sister site Magento doesn’t support uploading your own list of codes - it has to be the one that generates the codes.

So I’m trying to find a solution where I can upload a list of codes and every time a buyer makes a purchase, they would receive a unique code that they would take to the sister site to redeem.

Any ideas on how to do this? Would it be possible to use Zapier?

I think that the Post-purchase checkout extension is suitable for you. You can use it to display your cross-sell offers. But it’s not ready for live stores. It’s only available for development stores now.

Thank you! That does look like it would work well for me indeed! I did more scouring of reddit and other forum posts and also found Fetch, Easy Digital Products, Foridev, and SendOwl seem to be able to handle this feature also, so posting my findings for anyone else who comes across this thread! Instead of selling “license keys” I just made it a redemption code for the other site.
