DNS Settings Change or Domain Provider side or Hosting Server

Hi,

I purchased my domain from third party.

I am looking to update the A record, AAAA record and CNAME record.

I was wondering whether it is on the Domain Server or on the Hosting Server I need to change the above settings.

You have to just update these shopify DNS records on where is your purchased domain DNS.

When you bought your Domain Name the seller should have provided you with login information to access your Domain Name records, this is where you make alterations.

Thanks, I will login to my domain provider’s account and change it.

I am planning to move my domain to GoDaddy. If I move it to GoDaddy then I hope it will be done automatically if I provide the domain name on Shopify’s settings.
