I have just created an account in order to build an online store for my business and I have some questions.
I can understand that my website is live. Is there a way that I can work on my website offline?
Additionally, I am planning to operate my e-shop in a few months as I am facing other operational delays and I am taking advantage of these delays to spend more time on building the e-shop. Can I extend the free trial up until I operate my e-shop?

You’ve got some great questions there that I would be happy to help with!
We do have a plan which is the Pause and Build plan here at this link. With this plan you can stop selling but continue to work on your store in the admin. You can edit your products when you need to, but your checkout is disabled, this means your customers can browse your products but will be unable to check out. It can be selected from within the admin by heading to Settings > Account > Plan & Permissions > Pause and Build. To be eligible for the Pause and Build plan, your store needs to be on a paid plan and at least 60 days past the free trial period. If your store doesn’t meet these criteria, then you can’t pause your store. If you choose this plan, it runs at a reduced cost of $9 USD per month!
You also mentioned that you are looking to extend your trial period for your store. Generally Shopify only provides 14 days free trial as we believe this should be enough time for a merchant to get the store up and running. With that being said, we appreciate that may be other factors preventing you from completing set up of the store within that time and in some cases a trial extension may be granted.
