I just signed up to take Shop Pay installments. Do I also need to go to the Affirm website and set up an account with them so that I have access to the reports? There wasn’t anything mentioned about needing to do this but I just want to be sure.

With regards to your inquiry, what sort of reports are you referring to? Also, where are you seeing the need to sign up for an Affirm account? Getting this information from you will help myself and other contributors get a better understanding of your current situation.
While we wait however, I have found this great document from the Help Center that outlines all the things you need to do with regards to activating Shop Pay Installments.
As for Affirm, they are responsible for collecting installment payments from your customers. You get paid by Affirm and your payouts are sent to the same bank account that you use for Shopify Payments. Custom payout schedules don’t affect Shop Pay Installments payouts. You also can view your Shop Pay Installments payout information in the admin just like when you view your Shopify Payments payouts information.

If your Stripe account supports it, try Shopify Stripe Checkout, a third-party solution that supports Affirm and many payment methods without needing an Affirm/others account.
You also do not pay any additional commission, only Stripe commissions are deducted from payments.
