Hello Shopify Community,
We are planning to migrate our official website, Kinglight (https://en.kinglight.com/), to Shopify. I don’t need online shopping functionality, but I do need a price inquiry function. Are there any good templates with a request quote function?
Hey @sosososonow
Honest answer, you won’t find this already into a standard Shopify theme. Almost no theme has a native “request a quote / hide prices” function built in, that behavior is something you add on top via app or custom code, regardless of which theme you pick.
So don’t go theme hunting for it specifically, choose a theme you like the look of (Horizon, Dawn, or any premium one that fits your brand) and add the quote function separately.
Best,
Moeed
Hi @sosososonow
Shopify can work very well for this type of B2B website, even if you do not want traditional online shopping functionality.
For your case, I would recommend:
-
A clean industrial/manufacturer-style theme
-
“Request a Quote” or “Price Inquiry” functionality instead of Add to Cart
-
Product catalogs with inquiry forms
-
PDF/specification downloads
-
Product-based contact forms
Good Shopify themes for this type of setup:
-
Dawn (free and highly customizable)
-
Horizon
-
Prestige
-
Enterprise
-
Impulse
You can replace the normal “Add to Cart” button with:
-
“Request Quote”
-
“Get Pricing”
-
“Send Inquiry”

Hello @sosososonow,
If you don’t want that customers can place the order, then the best option is to use the Request a Quote button instead of the checkout and Add to cart button.
There are many different shopify apps that you can use. Like some are listed below.
Hope it’s help.
Hello @sosososonow
If you don’t need online checkout, most Shopify 2.0 themes will work great for a B2B LED site. Themes such as Trade, Enterprise or Warehouse are a good option if you have a large product catalogue, or require technical specifications. For quote requests, you can replace the Add to Cart button with a Request a Quote form with the help of a quote app or a contact form. This enables users to send inquiries right from product pages, while the site stays focused on generating leads rather than selling online.
Generally:
Theme = design
Functionality = custom code, apps, Shopify Forms
You can just use the Shopify Forms app to add a form on your pages, it’s a free first-party app made by Shopify themselves. That will work on absolutely any theme so just pick the theme that you like and go from there.
Just make sure you pick a block-based theme, like the newest Shopify free themes, and not an older one. There was a major change to how themes are structured on the back end within the past year and the theme store still has a lot of themes on it that are not up to date yet.
Hi @sosososonow,
Most standard themes do not have a quote feature built-in, but setting this up is actually very simple. I recommend starting with a clean, free theme like Dawn, or a premium theme like Warehouse if you have a very large catalog of products. To get the price inquiry function, your best bet is to pair your theme with some apps like Globo Request a Quote or Form Builder. These apps let you easily hide the “Add to Cart” button and replace it with a custom inquiry form on your product pages, giving you a beautiful, professional showcase website without shopping cart confusion.
Hope this helps,
Hey @sosososonow
If you’re looking for a dedicated B2B theme, there isn’t really an official Shopify theme that’s built specifically for B2B.
A lot of merchants use themes like Trade, Enterprise, or Warehouse and then customize them with Shopify’s B2B features (if they’re on Shopify Plus) or B2B apps for things like wholesale pricing, customer-specific catalogs, and bulk ordering.
The best choice really depends on whether your focus is a product catalog, quick ordering, or a more traditional wholesale experience. ![]()
