Do shoppers have to register to make a purchase?

Hi folks,

Basic question. I’d like to make sure customers have to register before making an order so that I can ask them to agree to my terms and conditions.

Is it default behaviour to ask the shopper to register first, before they order?

If not, can I set it up so it is?

Hi Rog in your store’s settings under checkout there is a setting to Require the customer to log in to their account before checkout, checking this option will ensure they register and accept your terms before they can check out.
