Do you need a registered company for customers to make card payments?

I would like to know when registered an account and for customer to make card payment, do I need a registered company for the business, or they can make card payment without seller must have a regisgtered company?

You don’t need to be a registered company by default, but you need to ensure that you meet the requirements laid out by your payment processor. Some may require you to sign up as a registered business while others may allow for sole proprietorships. Have you chosen the payment gateway you want to process card payments?

We are situated in South Africa.
May I ask what are the requirements laid out by the payment processor? At the moment we haven’t registered for the account yet.

This will vary depending on the processor. I’d recommend taking a look at the gateways available to merchants in South Africa and then you can contact ones you are interested in directly to ask about their requirements. Many of them will list some of the requirements on their website.
