Does adding Shopify POS affect the current store dashboard layout?

hello,

I currently have a website through Shopify which has been great so far and love the features it offers. We may decide to do some shows or exhibitions around the UK this year and saw Shopify POS offer a solution for on the go sales but I wanted to know if adding the channel affects the overall look of the dashboard when I sign in now as I’ve seen the layout is different in videos but unsure if we can switch between the views of pos and current Shopify store?

we will only be using it a short period of time so 2-3 days every comply of months so it’s not constant but will that be ok to do? And selling via POS will take stock off our current stock showing online?

min debating whether to try Shopify POS or Zettle as this connects to Shopify and card reader

When using Shopify POS, this won’t alter your Shopify Admin but instead only be added in as a Sales Channel -

There is a Shopify POS app that you will need which is different from the Shopify Mobile App. This app would be used on your tablet or mobile device in order to make those sales in person. The Shopify POS App dashboard will look like the below -
