Has anyone actually used llms.txt? Does it have any noticeable effect on how AI tools read or interpret a site?
LLMs.txt is still a bit of a speculative area, as uptake hasn’t been confirmed by any of the major LLMs as far as I’m aware. But the premise of making your whole site an easy-to-read text document in one location really makes sense to me, and I always like to be ahead of the game.

I read an article about a study that showed no benefit to using this file as of yet. While it may become useful in the future, the Shopify App store seems to be pushing LLMS.txt apps pretty hard and a lot of the app pages and websites are making some over the top claims.
