once i recieve an order, do i have to place the order myself to the supplier or will it do it automatically? thanks
This is up to you and your supplier.
For example, I’ve seen suppliers have a Shopify app, that stores install and that communicates with the supplier.
If they don’t have an app, you can use an app like Order Automator to automatically send emails to suppliers / staff / partners, etc based on the contents of the order (for example send items from Vendor X to email@yoursupplier.com when a new order comes in, or send a csv summary of orders from the day).
Some suppliers require you send a csv, some require you enter the order into their portal, some are cool with an email and they bill you either before shipping, or weekly, monthly.
There are infinite options, you just have to communicate with your supplier what your options are (or propose an option that your business already uses).
