Does pay-per-click apply to app ads and how to boost user engagement?

Hello guys,
I have some queries:-

  1. If I make a keyword with less amount in $$ and no user click on my bid or app then still whole amount will deduct at the end of that that I wanted to spend in a day or Is it click specific only?
  2. Will you also promote apps on any other platform or just Shopify App store only?
  3. How can we attract user to install and use our app in more specific way. Any idea?

  1. You will only get charged when someone will click on your add on the app store listing.

  2. We do promote our app on different channels like Google, Facebook, Instagram and also we have started doing it on Reddit

  3. The simplest way to attract users is that you keep your listing with all the required information and clear images/videos. The keywords should be clear about what the app does. Once they install the app, try to retain them by giving proper assistance and onboarding. You can start collaborating with other apps to get attention of their current users.
