It’s important to know that Shopify does not make any changes to your business or how you collect taxes at any time. Since Shopify supports international businesses from all over the world, we wouldn’t want to assume what your unique business needs might be.
I recommend familiarizing yourself with your tax setup on your store and reviewing our Help Center documentation on how to change your tax rates for applicable countries/states that you sell to: Taxes · Shopify Help Center.
