Does Shopify Markets change REST API data structure?

Hi there,

we are planning to move from several shops to have only one shopify markets shop.

I was wondering whether the data structure changes (orders, productes etc.) within the REST API for shopify markets or does it stays the same and just some additional objects will be available. Additionally I was wondering if shopify markets object is also available via REST API. I have only found this GraphQL docu.

Im with the BI-Team and I’m happy to connect if someone already had experience by moving to shopify markets.

Everything remains the same when it comes to Shopify’s API structure for orders, products etc. The Markets API is only available through GraphQL.

I’m curious if the REST API is going to be deprecated at some point. It seems like it is being willfully ignored since the GraphQL API was released. As someone who has no plans whatsoever to change to use GraphQL (we have literally 100’s of websites using the REST API) it would be good to know the roadmap to plan accordingly.
