I’m looking for a solution for Shopify Payments to offer customers ACH as a payment method ( Not merchant payout method ).
After some research, I found out in order to do that, I have to add a manual payment method that leads to a separate ACH payment link.
The flow that works for me now is that a customer places the order with manual payment method → see the payment link after the order is placed → The customer makes the payment through Stripe ACH Direct Payment Link
My questions are
- Is that the only way for Shopify payments to accept ACH payment? Can we have a Stripe popup window integrated in Shopify payments when they place the order?
- It looks like even though the customer made the payment successfully with Strip ACH direct payment. Shopify order still displays as Payment pending. Is manually Mark as paid the only way to fulfill the order?
