If i upgrade my shopify subscription plan will i will get more orders?
Welcome to the Shopify Community forums! This is a great question to ask and I’d be happy to help you with that. I would also love to know if you are looking to drive more traffic to your store in general, and if yes, what steps are you taking now to do so?
For the different plan options your reach online will not change. All our standard plans have the same features and benefits when it comes to catalogue sizes, site speed, seo and customer reach.
These are the things to consider if you want to upgrade your plan:
- Do I need more staff accounts?
- Do I need carrier calculated shipping?
- Do I make enough sales through Shopify Payments to go up a plan level to decrease my processing fees?
- Do I need Shopify POS Pro?

Remember that making sales isn’t a game of numbers going up. Think about a time you bought something online - did an app or a higher Shopify plan reach into your wallet and take out your credit card and type it in? Of course not, you did it because you’re a person and computer programs don’t affect you directly. Your customers are people too, so treat them like people!
