I had an expired store trial which has the domain I preferred (eg.www.myownstore.com), however I have opened another trial store which has another domain (eg.www.myownstore-2.com) and I had done all the webpage theme customization and set-up on that domain. Is it possible that I can transfer the preferred domain (www.myownstore.com) to my new store which I has all the set-up done?

The possibility of doing what you need will depend on few different factors such as:
If the domain you mention is the default myshopify.com domain, then you will not be able to transfer it. You can create a variation following this guide, given you meet the requirements. If this is the case, I suggest getting a custom domain where you can select your store name.
If you purchased the domain in question through Shopify and you cannot access the store it is currently attached to I invite you to reach out to our Contact Us page.
As you can’t log in, select ‘Can’t log in to your Shopify account’ and then immediately click on the ‘I still can’t access my account’ green button. Then scroll down to the bottom of the page, where you should see the ‘Get Support’ section, where you can select your preferred communication channel.
Once you’re connected to one of our Support Advisors they will be able to provide you further steps depending on the closed account overall standing.

Thanks for your reply! To better explain my situation, now I have a few inactive stores due to the expiration of my trial. The first one is eg. myownstore.myshopify.com but I have built up like 30% of my website with myownstore-2.myshopify.com. My question is I want to proceed to buy a plan for the one I have already built up with 30%, I want to know when I actually buy a domain, the phrase (eg.myownstore) before myshopify.com has nothing to do with my final domain right? Like when I proceed to purchase domain, as long as eg. myownstore.com is still available, then I can buy it. Is that correct? Just that I am afraid if I proceed with myownstore-2.myshopify.com, then when I buy the actual domain, it has to be myownstore-2.com.
