Domain isn't working

Hello! So I’ve been trying to figure this out for two days. http://www.moondropnails.com & http://moondropnails.com gives a “This domain points to Shopify but isn’t configured properly” error. moondropnails.com redirects to https://moondropnails.com/ . It is a third-party domain that I manually connected.

Now everything is redirecting to https:// since I just tried it, and is now giving this error:

"moondropnails.com has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

Websites prove their identity via certificates. Firefox does not trust this site because it uses a certificate that is not valid for www.moondropnails.com. The certificate is only valid for the following names: myshopify.com, *.myshopify.com"

Attached is a screenshot of my DNS, which according to every single thing I’ve read, is correct. This is annoying the crud out of me because every time I post the URL, I have to redo it because most of the links won’t work. Anyone have any ideas??

Hi @moondropnails ,

To resolve the issue, ensure that your DNS settings have the following:

  1. A Record: Points to Shopify’s IP address.
  2. CNAME Record: Points www to shops.myshopify.com.

Verify that the SSL certificates cover both moondropnails.com and www.moondropnails.com. In Shopify admin, go to Settings > Domains and ensure both domains are connected properly with SSL enabled. If issues persist, DM for further assistance.

Kindly reach out to your domain provider or Shopify support team so, they can further check if there is any error on your DNS record that is causing this issue.
