Domain TLS not working

My domain is stuck in provisioning TLS certificate.

The sitemap is showing HTTP not HTTPS, and so the SEO links and other links from QR codes are all broken and wont redirect properly.

The DNS setup on cloudflare is correct according to the docs.

I added the primary domain 15 days ago, it all links up correctly, the site loads when opening a tab on the URL manually - but google links, and linking from a QR code dont load the site - it breaks with an error, but if you refresh, then it loads just fine.

I have tried changing the primary domain to www., but that is still not working.

Everything I try it just says “should take 5 min to provision” or “24 to 48 hours to propogate”.

Please help, has anyone experienced this and managed to resolve it?

Would you please provide more details like your domain, sitemap and your setup in Cloudflare? Cloudflare should provide TLS certificate for free by default.

If I understand correctly, what you mean is that Google indexes your site with HTTP rather than HTTPS, so the link is broke because modern browsers like Chrome blocks HTTP link by default. You solutions are

  • Update the sitemap and your QRcode to use HTTPs instead
  • Or update Cloudflare setting to redirect HTTP to HTTPs by default with this settings . This option is preferred because you don’t need to update your sitemap and QRcodes.
